About The Aston Stylistics Research Centre

The Aston Stylistics Research Centre brings together a community of scholars who analyse textual style to examine production, reception and interpretation of texts. We work with language in various forms of its interdisciplinary application, focusing on cognitive grammar and education, discourse and religion, reader response and contemporary fiction, poetry and wellbeing, film studies and spectatorship, critical disability studies and visitorhood.

At the heart of the Centre are its members, researchers at different career stages whose expertise, projects, and achievements shape our Centre’s vibrant research culture and academic impact.
